The Seven Mosques (Khandaq)
The Seven Mosques stand on the western slope of Mount Sal', where the Muslims dug the trench in the Battle of al-Khandaq in 5 AH. The best known is Masjid al-Fath, where the Prophet ﷺ made dua for victory; the large modern Masjid al-Khandaq now stands beside the historic small mosques.
It is a short drive from Masjid al-Qiblatain, so the two are always visited together.
